now it’s my 4th day out, 2 nights sleeping outdoors with the milkyway above me and one night like in school times with a bunch of people in the room. It is terribly hot but I still live. Today we arrived in Coober Pedy and we have now 50 degrees. But in side the mines we had 24 and we are looking forward to the night indoors with 24 degrees and no animals. Although it is fantastic that I survived till now. I saw Emus, skipies (kangurus), reptiles (alive!!!), drometar, sheeps and cows of course, goats, dogs and cats, I put a big, big spider away, swam in 2 million old water which was sparkeling and more alive than any other water I saw in my life. And I don’t understand that I can be so happy when it’s so awful hot.
Next days I will be on the road again on Wednesday I will arrive in Alice. But now I go for a swim. More next time!!!
First time I saw the moon in Autralia
It’s really damned hot here in Castlemaine. But the heat makes me forget that I might have a jet lag. In the morning we went to Castlemaine, visit a little market and had a nice cup of coffee. (photo: mainstreet with townhall)
Later we went to Elmore yesterday at this nice summerfest but before Penny gave me the chance to take one step to New South Wales. Here you see the photo when we crossed Murray River .
So finally I will be able to say I was in almost all states except Australian Capital Territory and Queensland. You will see 🙂
Victoria
I stay now for some days in Campbells Creek a very important town in Victoria and I am lucky to go to Elmore another very important city in Victoria and it is you who have no good educational background if you don’t know them. And I will hear the famous worldwide known mighty bUZZniks and here you can listen to them on myspace and another bunch of other world-famous groups will play there. (It was so damned hot that everything was brought to the swimming pool that the audience could listen from the water … this is a very progressive and really nice way to support the audience, isn’t it?)
The Tour
To get an impression where I will be during the next weeks:
I will arrive in Melbourne and stay for few days in Castlemaine, leave for Adelaide and there I will go on a tour for 8 days up to Alice Springs. On the 11th I take the Ghan, the train up to the north and arrive a day later in Darwin. Few days later I will fly to Perth and take a campervan and let my fate decide where to go. On the 28th Hobart, Tasmania will be waiting for me and I will stay few days there before I will go back to Melbourne and see what will happen. On the 14th March I will arrive in Viennaet
